Wedding Company Policy 2008
Extraordinary Catering by Bart

Deposits & Payments
One-third deposit (Non-Refundable) is required to hold the date (based on approximate cost of affair)
One-third deposit (Non-Refundable) required at least 45 days prior to event
Remaining Balance due 10 days prior to the event
If additional guests added after payments are received, additional payment must be paid the day of the event
Accounts not paid in 10 days, subject to a 1.9% financing charge plus a $25.00 late charge

Cancellations
In order to stop billing of event, all cancellations must be SUBMITTED IN WRITING to Bart’s Catering

Guest Count
*All Weddings must have a minimum of 100 adult guests (Unless specific arrangements are made)
Final guest count must be received within 10 working days prior to the event.
Original Guest count may not be reduced after initial deposit.
48 hr. notice required for guest increases

General Fees
Credit Cards – Convenience fee of 5% for payments made with credit cards
Sales Tax - All orders are subject to 6% sales tax, unless tax-exempt number is presented

Standard Fees
25% Equipment & Maintenance Fee (or a minimum of $150.00) includes the following services:
Delivery, equipment, maintenance, 1 hour set-up, 1 hour serve, & clean-up of our equipment
27% Equipment & Maintenance Fee for service beyond that described above including special linens, risers, and decorations such as mirror boxes, and display items
30% Equipment & Maintenance Fee for china with a minimum fee of $250.00
45% Equipment & Maintenance Fee for the handling of china, flatware and glassware that is not ours.
Set-up for Formal Affairs
Bridal, gift, cake, cookie tables, skirting and covers - $300.00 [does not include linens]
Silverware, China, Glassware, etc on tables - $250.00

Venue Fees: all kitchen fees and catering fees will be added to total final invoice.

Staffing
Servers $175.00 Each for max 8 hours
Walking Servers $150.00 Each for max 5 hours
Bartenders $300.00 Each for max 6 hours
Service Time over and above allotted time at $5.00 per 15 minutes per employee

Sit Down Dinners – over and above any other fees (for additional labor and servers)
< 50 guests $750.00 51- 100 guests $1000.00 101- 150 $1,500.00 151-200 guests $2000.00

Equipment Rental
China, glassware, flatware etc. are an additional cost (Unless other arrangements are made) Damage waiver of 15% of cost of rentals is required. Tables, chairs, linens, skirting are client’s responsibility (Unless prior arrangements are made) Handling fees may apply.

Price is subject to change. A minimum number of guests are required for some menus.
Quotes are subject to change after 5 business days
Cost per guest may reflect a proportional increase to the increased cost of food and expenses on menus quoted 6 months or more in advance.
Equipment and Food must be a reasonable distance from setup, not exceeding 50 feet or Fee could be charged.
Food left out for 2 hours or more must be examined by Caterer to determine wholesomeness
